The children's author David Walliams dropped by book publisher.
Best-selling young adult author and TV personality David Walliams has parted ways with his publisher HarperCollins UK, as confirmed by the firm.
A representative for the company commented: "After careful consideration, and following the appointment of its recently appointed chief executive, HarperCollins UK has chosen to cease publishing additional books by David Walliams."
It has been reported that the move was reached following an investigation into claims about inappropriate behaviour involving female individuals.
The firm declined to specify the reasons for its decision, noting: "We refrain from speaking about confidential company decisions."
An Illustrious Writing Journey
Walliams is one of the UK's most best-selling authors for kids, with sales exceeding more than 60 million copies globally in 55 languages.
The debut children's novel from Walliams, *The Boy in the Dress*, was published by HarperCollins fifteen years ago.
Several of his books, such as *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have subsequently been turned into television films.
To date, he has released over four dozen titles combined, which features a holiday title named *Santa & Son*, which was published by HarperCollins in October.
Television and Literature
His career breakthrough occurred on the TV sketch series *Little Britain* and has also won National Television Awards for his work as a judge on *Britain's Got Talent*.
He was made an OBE in 2017 for his services to philanthropic and artistic endeavors.
This development follows the naming of Kate Elton as HarperCollins UK's freshly installed boss in October.
